F1 Hotel Manila: Bonding Over Barbeque at the Canary Lounge

Growing up in Dubai, I have fond memories of meeting with family friends almost every Saturday (the equivalent of a Sunday over there) to relax, unwind, put a few lamb chops on the grill, and just have an old fashioned barbecue. I have fond memories of backyard barbecues growing up, and only wish we'd still have them now that everyone's grown up.

F1 Hotel Manila let's you reminisce or create your own happy family memories at the Canary Lounge this month of June, with a variety of different types of barbies to chose from.

The Canary Lounge is located at F1 Hotel's veranda and overlooks the rest of Bonifacio Global City. It's a really nice place to hang out, unwind, and just get away from the city, the high walls and plexi-glass only shows the tops of buildings of the buildings of Bonifacio Global City (and protects the little humans from falling over the edge).

We had quite a spread that evening, the staff at the F1 Hotel were generous enough to share all the barbeque sets with us: Japanese Yakiniku, Brazilian Churasco, Filipino Sugba, and American BBQ. My favorite is probably the American set, as it comes with ribs, baked potatoes and sauteed veg, as well as a sweet and smokey hickory sauce.

There were sticks of beef and chicken from the yakiniku set, grilled chicken and pork from the churasco set, and fresh fish from the sugba set. It was pretty overwhelming, looking at all that grilled meat! Each set also comes with their own type of sauce, from a light ponzu for the Japanese set, to the smokey, sweet hickory sauce for the American set.

When mucking around BGC with the family, grill your own mouth-watering barbecue at the Canary Lounge every weekend! The barbeque sets are good for four people and are inclusive of salad, rice or bread, and sauces.
