The casino game has definitely changed now that Solaire Resort & Casino has opened over at Entertainment City. Could this be the start of a Vegas-like Strip in the Philippines? If it is, I hope they bring in a Cirque du Soleil act soon! *Fingers and toes crossed*
Jericho and I wanted to check out the casino (I saw a Dark Knight slot machine on the way in and dearly wanted to give it a spin!) and went over to the Rewards Club counter to procure a card. I initially thought this worked as a prepaid card of some sort, but really what it is is a loyalty card that lets you collect points. The more you play, the more you earn, and you could use the points to purchase drinks, meals and the like.

Solaire Rewards opens up a world of generous rewards, refined privileges, and unexpected surprises. Indulge in enticing, complimentaries from our casino, signature restaurants, and luxurious hotel. Be the first to know about premium offers through exclusive SMS and e-Newsletters. Get exclusive invitations to our special events and tournaments, and have the power to earn and redeem benefits to your advantage!
Registering for the cards is free, but you will need to present a government issued ID. I didn't have any on me at the time (not ideal when at a casino, I know), so the lady at the counter gave me a Solaire Welcome Card to use instead. You can use the temporary card to play and earn points and then have them transferred to a card registered in your name once you come back with a valid ID. How convenient!
There are several tiers of Solaire Rewards. You start off at the Solaire tier (which is the orange card ), make your way up to the Select tier (a purple card), then the Preferred tier (a green one), and then there is the Elite tier (a red card), which is where you want to be at.
The Elite Rewards Card allows you access to the Solaire Club, which is where the high rollers and shot callers hang out. Not only do they have a private entrance to the casino, they also have perks like a complimentary room for the night. There's also a special Marquis tier that's given to the higher management of Solaire and select friends, which is a really pretty black card that reminds me of the elusive black AmEx. Can we be friends, Solaire management?
Solaire Rewards members are privy to a lot of perks that include but are not limited to:
- Earn and redeem Base Points and Solaire Dollars (i.e. Solaire$)
- Tier exclusive Jumbo Jackpots
- Personal access at mysolaire.com
- Solaire$ Earning Bonus
- Free Play offers
- Complimentary dining
- Exclusive SMS/e-mail offers
- Participation in on-floor promotions
- Invitation to exclusive events and tournaments
- Complimentary show tickets / entertainment tickets at the MOA Arena
- Complimentary hotel accommodations
- Dedicated Casino Host
- Access to Solaire Club Lounge and High Limit Slots

- Limousine pickup from the airport
You can redeem your Solaire$ for Free Play on Slots and Table Games, meals in Solaire's restaurants, hotel accommodations, show tickets, exclusive Solaire merchandise, and a lot more. I really like how it's more of a loyalty-slash-octopus card for the entire place and the MOA Arena.
